Dear Friends,

Jesse Acebedo’s legacy continues with the Annual Jesse Acebedo Memorial Golf Tournament. All funds raised will benefit the Wasco Community Scholarship Association (WCSA).

Although from McFarland, Jesse was a Wasco Tiger. He was a major part of the Wasco community and Wasco High for over 40 years. One of the causes Jesse believed in was the WCSA.  

The WCSA has been granting scholarships to qualified Wasco High School graduates attending two-year or four-year colleges/universities or technical schools since 1966.

All donations go to providing scholarships for graduates of Wasco High School. We are proud of the amount of money and the number of scholarships given each year to help these students continue their two-year, four year, and trade school educations. The WCSA believes education makes a difference in the lives of young people and it is people like you who make this all possible. Without your support, we would not be able to carry on this important work.
